Having earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University in 1987 and his Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School in 1990, Eric Aretsky has been practicing law since 1991. He served as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part, Bergen County, for the Honorable Conrad W. Krafte.

Mr. Aretsky is admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association (Family Law Committee) and the New Jersey State Bar Association (Member, Family Law Section). He was also selected to be a member of the Justice Morris Pashman Inns of Court and the Barry Croland Family Law Inns of Court.

With a well-respected reputation in the legal community, Mr. Aretsky is a compassionate, yet aggressive litigator who has helped many clients obtain favorable outcomes in their cases. A dedicated family man himself, Mr. Aretsky is also committed to helping his clients and their families through tough times and legal crises. In recognition of his accomplishments as a New Jersey divorce lawyer, Mr. Aretsky was featured in 201 Magazine.

Mr. Aretsky is also a certified divorce mediator, having completed the training offered by the Board on Continuing Legal Education. He is listed on the Roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases in Bergen County, a program designed to help resolve the economic issues in divorce cases. Mr. Aretsky has also assisted couples deal with economic matters, parenting time, spousal support, child custody, and other issues through private mediation. He will mediate in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, and Morris counties.
